RESET SUPPORT SERVICE

About Us

Reset Support Service is a not-for-profit organisation that works with people involved in domestic and family violence.

Our focus is to work towards early intervention and education to reduce the future incidence of domestic violence and reducing future breaches of domestic violence orders.

It takes strength and courage to admit to using violence or control. Reset Support Service can help you to take the first step towards changing behaviour, and being the best man, partner, spouse and family member you can be.

Our approach

to counselling

Counsellors have the ability to view situations from all angles. We help you to make sense of situations that have led you to be on this website. We are your sounding board and your guides to help you though. We want you to be happy and we want you to do better. Our approach is simple. Identify worrying behavior, help you to understand why they happen, show you how you can avoid it in the future. If you still need more help, reach out.

Recognise your triggers

We assist you with developing skills to help you to recognise key behaviours that set you off.

Improve your relationships

Participating in this program will help you improve past, present and future relationships.

Helping you to understand

Understanding yourself and using that understanding to grow is an important step in the process. We work with you to help you figure out what goes on every time you trigger.

Improve your communication

Improving your communication skills will assist you with being able to effectively get your point accross, while also understanding the points of view of others. Our sessions are designed to teach you non-conflicting ways to communicate.
