Reset Support Service can support men:

  • who have, or are still, behaving abusively
  • who use physical violence towards a partner or family members
  • who use stalking behaviour
  • who use controlling behaviour
  • who use verbal, emotional, and psychological abuse towards a partner or family member
  • who sexually abuse a partner or family member
  • who use spiritual abuse towards your parner or family member
  • who use financial abuse towards your partner or family member

The following frequently asked questions have been compiled to answer some questions that you may have about the program

There are up to 10 people per class. Each week, for ten weeks you will attend with the same people.

No, we use a screening process and work from referrals.

The courses are run once there are enough people to fill a program.

We don't recommend that you bring your partners. We may offer couples sessions at a later date, under a different program.

Should you fail to turn up, you will not pass the program. Your attendance record is also passed onto the Police Vulnerable Persons Unit.

It is not uncommon for Police to attend the program to check your progress and to show support.
